The remake of the game that started it all, it's Super Mario 64 DS!
On Nov 21, 2004, this remake added many new elements to the game, such as 3 new playable characters, more power stars, and brand new minigames. However, many dismiss all this because of the new control scheme. Essentially, it lead to the d-pad replacing the analog stick, which for many players ruined the experience. Others, however, would say that the control scheme barely changed anything, and could be an improvement. Regardless, it is a remake with new content of a beloved classic that deserves to be played.
